This page is aimed to help you understand better the BCO steps we undertake
to process your cards from start to finish.
>>>ORDERING
Ordering goods for print is easy. Either call us on (03) 9585 1333 or
email us info@businesscardsonline.com.au.
When you place an order we may ask you questions such as:
- what would you like to order?
- do you have any existing artwork you would like to use or would you
like us to create it?
- what information would you like to appear (ie names, phone numbers etc)?
- how many copies would you like?
- how would you like to pay for your goods? (note: prepaying for goods
make delivery easier).
- are there any delivery instructions we need to give the driver? (take
note the couriers work between 8.30am and 5.30pm and there needs to be
someone to receive the goods on your end or the package will not be left).
>>>ARTWORK COMMENCED
Once an order has been placed our talented designers will design a layout
for you (based on your specifications and directions) and will either
email, fax or post you a proof to look at.
Please note if you are supplying your own artwork for business cards,
we require files as either .eps or .pdf. The images you supply must be
300dpi and using CMYK colours and the total size (including a 2mm bleed)
should be 94mm x 59mm.
>>>PROOFING
At this stage you are able view your work as it will look printed.
From here you will need to contact us and tell us of either any changes
needed or if you are happy to go ahead with printing. We ask that you
very carefully check all the spelling and numbers before you give the
ok for print. At this stage we ask that you allow 7 - 10 business working
days before you recieve your cards. This is to allow for the printing
process and dispatch via the couriers.
>>>PRINTING
The printing process takes about 5 - 6 working days, where your
goods are printed, dried, laminated, dried, trimmed, boxed etc. The best
of care is taken to make sure your printed goods are the highest quality
and quickly delivered to meet your demanding deadlines.
>>>DISPATCH
We dispatch using AussieWide Couriers (metro), Couriers Please
(suburbs) and Australia Post (country).
BCO will always call you prior to delivery to advise you of delivery dates.
It is recommended that you pay prior to delivery to avoid problems with
COD couriers (.ie the check not being ready when courier arrives or you
not being home). Note: The couriers will not leave COD goods unless they
are paid for first.
If delivery arrangements are not met due to unfortunate circumstances
such as the above there will be a delivery fee imposed for second delivery.
